FAMILY SERIES
Thanks to everyone who voted for Family Series - we received a record number of votes! The City of Thunder Bay is pleased to announce the Movie Nights in the Park - Family Series film lineup for 2015:
Thursday, Aug. 13 – The Lego Movie Note: this screening will be on a Thursday, in order to accommodate the BrewHa! 2015 Craft Beer Festival
Friday, Aug. 21 - The Goonies
Friday, Aug. 28 - Big Hero 6
Friday, Sept. 4 - Cinderella (2015)
Friday, Sept 11 - The Scratch and Inside Out A special co-presentation with the Bay Street Film Festival!
Movies start after sunset, once it is dark (around 10 pm for the Late Night Series, around 9 pm for the Family Series). Bring warm clothing, a blanket and a lawn chair and enjoy the show on the big screen overlooking beautiful Lake Superior. Admission is FREE! Concessions will be available.
Each feature film is preceded by a screening of a locally or regionally produced short film. Come early to get the best seat and see what the local filmmaking community has been up to.
Please note that alcohol is not permitted at Movie Nights in the Park.
