A driver involved in a two-vehicle crash over the weekend has died, police confirmed Tuesday.
Thunder Bay Police Service officials say Justin Norman Enge, 23, died at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre just before 12:30 a.m. Monday. The victim was a driver involved in a two-vehicle collision on Sunday evening at Dawson and Mapleward Roads.
Police say Enge was driving a 2005 Pontiac with three passengers at the time of the crash.
Police say that it appears he lost control of his vehicle as he drove it westbound on Dawson Road at Mapleward Road.
The vehicle slid into the eastbound lane and was struck by a 2005 Pontiac Montana, driven by a 19-year-old woman.
All other injuries reported were not life threatening.
A Facebook group has been created as an unofficial online memorial for Enge.
