GREENSTONE, Ont. -- The occupant of a truck has died following a single-vehicle collision Tuesday evening.
Officers with the Greenstone detachment of the OPP responded to the crash just after 8 p.m. On Highway 11, about 15 kilometres west of Geraldton.
When police arrived the tractor trailer unit was already on fire.
The Geraldton Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services attended the scene.
When the fire was extinguished, police were able to confirm that the lone occupant of the truck had died.
Police have not released the identity of the victim.
The investigation continues.
