THUNDER BAY -- A south side garage was badly burned in a fire Saturday afternoon.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue received reports flames were rising from a back lane garage of a Finlayson Street home just before 3 p.m.
Firefighters arrived to find the building was empty and flames had already risen into the garage's structure. They were able to bring the fire under control without any damage to adjacent structures.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
