A small deck fire Thursday night caused extensive damage to the back of a High Street North home.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue responded to the fire at about 9 p.m., arriving and quickly extinguishing it. Damage was limited to the siding and eaves.
The fire was discovered by a neighbour, who alerted the occupants, allowing them to get out safely.
There were no injuries in the incident and the cause of the fire has been deemed accidental.
