THUNDER BAY – A rural home was levelled in a Wednesday afternoon blaze.
Members of the Lappe Fire Department, East Gorham Fire Department and Kaministiquia Fire Department responded to the fire, which broke out on the property of a Mapleward Road home, located north of Kam Current Road, around 2 p.m.
Fire crews hauled water from a nearby creek to tackle the blaze.
Nobody was home at the time of the fire.
