Thunder Bay Fire Rescue will resume operations at the Neebing Fire Station on 20th Sideroad as of 6 p.m. Friday while work to complete mould remediation continues.
The Neebing Station Pumper will be housed and deployed from the existing apparatus bay and personnel will be accommodated in the on-site office trailer.
Burning permits are not available at Neebing Station yet. Residents looking for a burning permit are asked to go to any of the other seven fire stations.
The Neebing Fire Station was closed Feb. 10 for health and safety reasons after mould was confirmed by a Microbiological Analysis.
