SHUNIAH, Ont. -- Firefighters responded to a house fire in Shuniah late Wednesday night.
Shuniah Fire and Emergency Services on Wednesday night just before 8:30 p.m. reported a fire at a house on the 100 block of Road 5 South. First arriving crews reported a fully involved house fire that had already collapsed.
Firefighters contained the fire and had it completely extinguished by about 11 p.m.
There was no one home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
