THUNDER BAY – Firefighters headed out on the water Tuesday afternoon to help rescue an overturned sailboat.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue crews were called to the harbour in front of Prince Arthur’s Landing at about 4:20 p.m., where they dispatched a boat found an overturned catamaran.
The one male onboard was not in any danger but was struggling to upright the boat. With the help of a firefighter, the boat was flipped upright.
The man refused medical attention and was able to sail the catamaran to shore.
