THUNDER BAY -- City firefighters made quick work of a morning house fire on Johnson Avenue.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue firefighters responded to the fire at about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday and found a small fire on the second floor of the home.
Acting platoon chief Kelly Keeling told reporters at the scene that all residents managed to escape without injury.
Damage to the home is mainly smoke related.
An investigation into the cause continues.
