After years of negotiations, officials with the Lake Helen First Nation have signed documents with the province that will see their community’s geography triple in size.
Chief Pierre Pelletier says the larger land base will be positive for future economic development.
The deal will see around 600 acres of land near Nipigon added to the Lake Helen First Nation.
