Premier Dalton McGuinty is expected to visit the city Friday.
The ongoing fire situation in the Northwest has prompted the premier to pull out from a conference in Vancouver Thursday with his fellow premiers.
A spokesman for the premier’s office confirms McGuinty is coming to the city and will receive a briefing on efforts to deal with evacuees.
The rest of his schedule remains fluid.
