THUNDER BAY – A former teacher and principal who worked in a number of Northwestern Ontario communities has been charged with sexual offences dating back to the early 1980s.

Provincial police have charged 68-year-old Lothan Endler of Thunder Bay with two counts of indecent assault on a female, one count of indecent assault on a male and one count of assault, the OPP announced in a media release issued Wednesday afternoon.

The charges are from alleged incidents that occurred in 1981 and 1982.
