Fort Frances man charged with trafficking fentanyl, breaching court order

A 36-year-old Fort Frances man was observed by police violating his release conditions on Friday.

Rainy River OPP observed a male violating his release conditions on Feb. 5, 2021, shortly after 10 p.m. The investigation resulted in the arrest of a 36-year-old Fort Frances man.

FORT FRANCES, Ont., — A 36-year-old Fort Frances man has been charged with drug trafficking offences after members of the OPP observed a male violating his release conditions on Friday night.

Rainy River OPP charged Damien Corbo of Fort Frances with one count of possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and failing to comply with a release order. 

Corbo is currently in custody.
