Fort Frances man facing sex charges, incidents allegedly involved children

A 41-year-old Fort Frances man is facing several sex-related charges for offenses allegedly involving children.

The charges result from a May 19 raid at a Fort Frances home in which police seized computers, video recordings and video storage devices that are said to contain images of child sexual abuse.

Police also allege there is evidence the man was communicating with young people to obtain sexual services.

Christopher Ernest Simmons, 41, faces charges of sexual interference, sexual exploitation and juvenile prostitution.

None of the charges against the suspect have been proven in court.
