FORT FRANCES — A 30-year-old individual is facing charges of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon after another person was seriously assaulted on Saturday.
Gabriel Tuesday, 30, of Big Grassy First Nation has been charged and was remanded into custody on March 22, OPP said in a news release.
Officers say they were initially dispatched on March 20 shortly after 5 a.m. after receiving reports of an assault with a weapon that took place in the 200-block of Scott Street in Fort Frances.
The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
