THUNDER BAY – The family of a man who died last weekend on a Bruce Street trail has asked police not to provide further details into the victim’s death.

Police, in a brief release issued on Thursday afternoon, said the post-mortem examination was completed in Toronto and they were respecting the family’s wishes.

Police said there is no person of interest in the case.

The 22-year-old victim, who has not been named, was found unconscious on the trail on Saturday at about 4:30 p.m. by a passerby. He was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
