Four arrested after drive-by paintball shooting, egging

Four teens have been charged following a Sunday morning drive-by paintball shooting on the city’s north side. Officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service said they arrested four males between the ages of 16- and 18-years-old.

Police said a 22-year-old woman called police after allegedly being hit by paintballs and eggs as she stood on the corner of Elgin and Cumberland Streets just after 4:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Officers received a description of the vehicle and suspects.

Four suspects were arrested after police stopped their car in the 300 block of McIntyre Street just after 5 a.m. that same morning.

The three adults were released on a promise to appear in court on July 4.

The 16-year-old suspect was released on a promise to appear in court on July 7.
