Four arrested following Kenora drug bust

KENORA — Four people are facing various drug-related charges following the execution of a drug search warrant last week.

In a news release issued by Kenora OPP, police say a drug search warrant was executed in the 800-block of First Street in Kenora on March 18 just before 9 p.m.

Police seized drugs, cash, drug paraphernalia and a weapon.

Joey Nicolas, 37, of Kenora was charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-methamphetamine
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Possession of prohibited device or ammunition for dangerous purpose
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon

Christopher Flett, 32, of Kenora was charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-methamphetamine
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Possession of prohibited device or ammunition for dangerous purpose
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon
  • Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
  • Failure to comply with release order-other than to attend court

Celina Katcheconias, 28, of Kenora was charged with: 

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-methamphetamine
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Possession of prohibited device or ammunition for dangerous purpose
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon

Tessa Poole, 24, is charged with: 

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-cocaine
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000

Police say two of the accused were revealed on an appearance notice to attend the Kenora Courthouse on April 22 and the other two were held for bail.
