Four Constance Lake residents charged with drug offences

VAL COTE, Ont. -- A traffic stop on Highway 11 in Val Cote, Ont. resulted in four people under arrest on drug charges. 

Hearst officers, with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police, seized about 600 methamphetamine tablets valued at $4,000, $1,305 in cash and the motor vehicle involved. 

Three Constance Lake First Nation males, aged 46, 57 and 66 were each charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking and are scheduled to appear in a Hearst court on May 4. 

A 29-year-old woman, also from Constance Lake, was charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with an undertaking. The woman was remanded into custody and will appear in Cochrane, Ont. court on April 13 for a bail hearing.
