Thunder Bay Police have four people in custody in connection with an alleged recovered stolen vehicle after a short chase through city streets.
Police say they spotted the maroon Ford Taurus on Algoma Street, followed it when it turned onto Machar Avenue while awaiting confirmation it was the vehicle in question.
Once confirmation arrived they turned on their signal in an attempt to pull over the car, but the driver did not stop.
A few blocks later he bailed out and fled on foot.
A 36-year-old man, who police did not name, was apprehended a few blocks later and charged him with possession of stolen property and driving while disqualified.
Officers found three females in the alleged stolen vehicle. All were from Thunder Bay. Police charged one of the females with possession of stolen property.
