Four people were sent to hospital following a two-vehicle crash near the downtown North Core Tuesday afternoon.
The collision happened around 1 p.m. at the corner of Water Street and Park Avenue.
Two people from each vehicle were sent to hospital and at least one person is listed in serious condition.
Police say a blue car was heading north on Water Street and was attempting to make a left turn onto Park Avenue. That's when it came into collision with an oncoming red sedan, which crashed into a pole.
Officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service say a female driver of the red car has been charged with a traffic violation.
