THUNDER BAY – Expect it to get hot today.
According to Environment Canada, Monday’s high is expected to reach 31 C. While there is a 30 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon, and a risk of thunderstorms, a hot summer’s day appears to be inevitable.
The UV index will reach eight, or very high, as the temperature rises.
The short-range forecast appears to be mostly favourable this week. While 31 C is expected to be the highest for the week, residents can expect mostly sunny weather with temperatures between 23 C and 27 C.
