Garbage collection changes for holidays

THUNDER BAY – Garbage and recycling collection dates for all residents and businesses will change for the weeks of Dec. 21 and Dec. 28, as there is no collection on Friday, Dec. 25, 2020 or Friday, Jan. 1, 2021.
 

AREA	New dates over holidays:
Area 1 – BLUE Cards	Monday, Dec. 21	Monday, Dec. 28
Area 2 – ORANGE Cards	Tuesday, Dec. 22	Tuesday, Dec. 29
Area 3 – GREEN Cards	Wednesday, Dec. 23	Wednesday, Dec. 30
Area 4 – PINK Cards	Thursday, Dec. 24	Thursday, Dec. 31

 
Garbage and recycling must be put out for collection by 7 a.m. on collection day. To avoid being missed, residents should check their Waste Collection Calendars or visit: thunderbay.ca/garbage
