Gas bar closed after targeted by break and enter, theft

FORT WILLIAM FIRST NATIONS, Ont. – A gas bar remains closed following a recent break-and-enter and theft.

Officials with the Anishinabek Police Service say they responded to reports of a break and enter at the First Class Gas Station at 950 Chippewa Road early in the morning of Feb. 15.

Police say at about 4 a.m. suspects left the gas bar with an undisclosed amount of money.

The OPP Forensic Identification Unit provided assistance at the crime scene and the APS is continuing the investigation. 

No other details are known at this time, but police say further information will be released as it becomes available.
