Gas prices on the rise in province and city

THUNDER BAY – Gas prices are rising across the province and Thunder Bay is not bucking the trend. According to the online gas price watchdog ontariogasprices.com, gas prices across Ontario are on the rise.

THUNDER BAY – Gas prices are rising across the province and Thunder Bay is not bucking the trend.

According to the online gas price watchdog ontariogasprices.com, gas prices across Ontario are on the rise. Currently the average price across the province is about $1.039-per-litre.

In Thunder Bay, however, prices are not at the provincial average. The cheapest listed price as of Thursday morning could be found at the Superstore, where regular fuel was being sold at $1.057.

The most expensive fuel listed was $1.169-per-litre, while most gas bars were listing prices around $1.069.

At neighbouring Fort William First Nation, the lowest gas price listed was set at 93.9-cents-a-litre.
