THUNDER BAY -- The prices at the pumps remained relatively unchanged Tuesday morning in this city.
The lowest price motorists can expect to find is at the Superstore, where regular gas is still selling for $1.049-per-litre. Meanwhile, the highest remains $1.169 at the Esso at Dawson and Mapleward Roads.
The day before, the $1.169 was shared between two Esso gas bars, but as of Tuesday morning the Esso on John Street Road and Valley Street had moved its price to $1.139.
Gas bars between those prices do appear to continuing the trend of dropping prices. If you aren’t actively looking for the lowest price, expect to pay between $1.057 to $1.069.
Meanwhile, motorist in neighbouring Fort William First Nations will find the lowest price of fuel in their community at 89.5-cents-a-litre. That’s the price listed THP Variety and Gas Bar. The highest price found is Chapman’s, where the price is listed at 94.9-cents-a-litre.
