Gas Watch: Lowest price per-litre at $1.07, highest $1.21

THUNDER BAY --  As of Tuesday morning, the most you would have paid for a litre of regular gasoline in this city was $1.21 per litre.

According to the online gas price watchdog ontariograsprices.com, prices in Thunder Bay continue to decline slowly and steadily.

Tuesday morning prices were reported within the last 24 hours, and show the lowest price for fuel was listed at the Superstore where gas is $1.079. Meanwhile, the highest price was reported Monday evening at the Esso on Dawson Road and Mapleward, where regular fuel was sold at $1.21.

Motorists who aren’t hunting for the cheapest prices can expect to pay between $1.10 and $1.13, with some stations selling at just above those prices.

Northwestern Ontario remains one of the most expensive regions of the province for fuel, as some gas bars continue to sell at prices near and above $1.30.

Gas bars in Upsala, White River, Marathon and Schreiber remain on the list of most expensive spots in the province.
