Gas Watch: per-litre low at $1.024; high at $1.099

THUNDER BAY -- The price of regular gasoline remained relatively unchanged Monday into Tuesday. Motorists filling up Tuesday morning would have paid as little of $1.024-per-litre. According to online gas price watchdog ontariogasprices.

Motorists filling up Tuesday morning would have paid as little of $1.024-per-litre. According to online gas price watchdog ontariogasprices.com, that’s the cheapest reported price at the Husky off Highway 130.

Meanwhile, the most motorists would have paid in Thunder Bay $1.099. That was the price listed at two Esso stations, one on John Street Road and Valley Street and one on Dawson and Mapleward Roads.

Motorists not concerned with finding the best deal likely paid between $1.039 to $1.057, which were the most popular prices at gas bars around the city.

At neighbouring Fort William First Nations, the cheapest listed price was 87.5-cents-a-litre at K&A Variety and Gas Bar.

Ontario’s average gas price is listed at 92.6-cents a litre and prices are listed as stable.
