THUNDER BAY -- Four gas bars shared the city’s low per-litre gas price as of Tuesday morning.
The four gas bars share the 97.9-cents-per-litre price for regular fuel, a low that continues a trend of falling gas prices almost daily in the city. The gas bars that featured the 97.9-cents-per-litre price include:
- Husky, 514 Cumberland Street at MacDougall Street
- Superstore, Memorial Avenue, near 13th Avenue
- Shell, 277 Cumberland Street North and McIntyre Street
- Husky, 1120 Alloy Drive at Balmoral Avenue
Meanwhile, the highest recorded price for fuel in Thunder Bay as of Tuesday morning was listed at $1.069. That price could be found at the Esso on John Street Road and Valley Street.
Motorists not seeking out the cheapest fuel price can expect to pay between 98.5-cents and 99.9-cents a litre, which is the price listed at most Thunder Bay gas bars.
At neighbouring Fort William First Nations, the lowest fuel price listed was at Rita’s Cafe and Gas Bar, which sold gas at 83-cents.
