THUNDER BAY -- City police responded to more than 215 incidents during the week of Monday, April 13, 2015 through Sunday, April 19, 2015.
Thunder Bay Police Service statistics are made available through crimereports.com, a website that tracks reported crime via information provided by local police services.
The more than 215 incidents reported last week do not include traffic cases.
South of the Harbour Expressway, city police responded to more 130 reported crimes. Some of the more serious incidents included:
• 15 Assaults
• 3 Robbery
• 2 sexual assault
• 6 Break and enters
• 16 Thefts
• 4 Thefts from vehicles
• 2 Theft of a vehicle
• 3 Weapons charges
Meanwhile, north of the Harbour Expressway, officers responded to more than 85 criminal reports.
Some of the more serious incidents reported include:
• 12 Assaults
• 1 Sexual assault
• 2 Robbery
• 12 Break and enters
• 11 Thefts
• 1 Thefts from vehicles
• 5 Weapons charges
The vast majority of cases city police responded to were listed as either liquor or disorder.
