THUNDER BAY -- City police responded to more than 156 incidents during the week of Monday, Feb. 9 to Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015.
Thunder Bay Police Service statistics are made available through crimereports.com, a website that tracks reported crime via information provided by local police services.
The more than 156 incidents reported last week do not include traffic cases.
South of the Harbour Expressway, city police responded to more 80 reported incidents.
Some of the more serious incidents included:
- 11 Assaults
- 2 Break and enters
- 11 Thefts
- 3 thefts from vehicles
- 3 weapons charges
Meanwhile, north of the Harbour Expressway, officers responded to more than 76 criminal reports.
Some of the more serious incidents reported include:
- 10 Assaults
- 4 Robbery
- 4 Break and enters
- 16 Thefts
- 2 Thefts from vehicles
- 1 sexual assault
- 4 weapons charges
The vast majority of cases city police responded to continues to be those listed as either liquor or disorder.
