THUNDER BAY -- City police responded to more than 164 major incidents during the week of Monday, March 2 to Sunday, March 8, 2015.
Thunder Bay Police Service statistics are made available through crimereports.com, a website that tracks reported crime via information provided by local police services.
The more than 164 incidents reported last week do not include traffic cases.
South of the Harbour Expressway, city police responded to more 94 calls. Some of the more serious incidents included:
- 8 Assaults
- 1 sexual assaults
- 1 Robbery
- 12 Thefts
- 1 thefts from vehicles
- 3 Vehicle thefts
- 3 weapons charges
Meanwhile, north of the Harbour Expressway, officers responded to more than 70 calls.
Some of the more serious incidents reported include:
- 9 Assaults
- 1 Sexual assault
- 5 Break and enters
- 15 Thefts
- 1 Vehicle theft
- 4 Thefts from vehicles
- 2 Weapons charges
The vast majority of cases city police responded to were listed as either liquor or disorder.
