Greenstone man charged following break and enter

GERALDTON, Ont. -- Greenstone detachment officials say their officers were notified of an alleged break and enter in a Geraldton home shortly after 8 a.m. Dec. 23.

GERALDTON, Ont. -- Greenstone detachment officials say their officers were notified of an alleged break and enter in a Geraldton home shortly after 8 a.m. Dec. 23.

The home was located in the First Street West and Third Avenue South West area of that community.

Police later arrested a 41-year-old Greenstone man as a result of that reported break and enter.

Police searched the man’s home, and following that search charged the man with the following:

  • Break and Enter a Residence
  • Theft Under $5,000
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order
  • Trespassing at Night
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Possession of drugs –  Marjuana Under 30 grams

The accused was held at the OPP Greenstone Detachment pending a Bail Hearing.
