THUNDER BAY — Weapons charges were laid after city police received a call during an incident.
On Friday night, TBPS (Thunder Bay Police Services) received a call about an alleged weapons incident on Amelia Street West.
When officers arrived, they located two people who were allegedly in a physical altercation, brandishing items described by police as weapons, including an alleged firearm.
Officers were able to safely contain the scene and arrest the two individuals involved.
One 36-year-old man is facing four weapons-related charges, while a 44-year-old man is facing three similar offences.
Both accused individuals appeared in court and have been remanded into custody with a future court appearance date.
