THUNDER BAY -- For the eighth time this school year, studies at Hammarskjold High School have been interrupted by an anonymous threat.

Several police vehicles swarmed the Clarkson Street school on Friday and students were later sent home for the day. It's the third time this week classes have been interrupted, the second time students have been sent home.

"Students who walk to school will be walking home. Buses will be returning to the school to take students home as per afternoon routes. All efforts will be made to reopen on Monday, April 8," said a statement issued by the board.
