Conservative party sources say Prime Minister Stephen Harper will pay Thunder Bay a visit next Friday.
Though not officially confirmed, a source close to the party told tbnewswatch.com that Harper is expected to be the guest of honour at a Conservative rally that aims to build excitement about the party in Thunder Bay and increase their prospects for electing members in Thunder Bay-Rainy River and Thunder Bay-Atikokan.
The source said the event will not be a fundraiser.
Party members and other city residents will be invited to pre-register to attend the event, which will be held at a the Victoria Inn.
