Melissa Harrison will not be returning to the district administration services board.
Harrison took over as Chief Administrative Officer in 2011 but had been on leave for more than a year.
On Tuesday the Thunder Bay District Social Services Administration Board issued a news release stating that Harrison is leaving the organization to spend time with her young children and complete a Master's degree.
