Health Unit providing tetanus shots for flood victims

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is now recommending those involved in flood clean-up efforts get a tetanus shot.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is now recommending those involved in flood clean-up efforts get a tetanus shot. 

Officials say it's important to keep immunizations up to date, as there is a threat of cuts and scrapes leading to infection and lock-jaw. 

A walk-in clinic is available Thursday from 4 until 7 p.m. at St. Peter's Church in the East End.
