Health unit reporting one new COVID-19 case

Two other cases are considered resolved bringing the number of active cases to 24.

THUNDER BAY - There is only one new case of COVID-19 in the Thunder Bay District on Wednesday and the number of active cases continues to decline.

The single new case is from Thunder Bay and surrounding areas and it is listed as no known exposure.

With two more previous cases now considered resolved, the number of active cases has fallen to 24.

There were no new hospitalizations and according to the Thunder Bay District Health Unit, there are two district residents in hospital and none in the intensive care unit.

There were also no new variants of concern identified.

The total number of cases in the Thunder Bay District now sits at 3,168.
