THUNDER BAY – Here comes the heat!
According to Environment Canada, Thunder Bay is set to receive a heat wave.
The government weather agency’s long-range forecast shows highs of 28 C and 29 C Wednesday through Friday. Meanwhile, nighttime lows between Wednesday and Thursday will only drop to about 18 C.
Both Wednesday and Thursday also feature a 30 per cent chance of showers, with a chance of thunder showers for Wednesday.
The temperatures are set to drop, albeit only slightly, during the weekend when highs are expected to be 23 C and 24 C Saturday and Sunday respectively.
