THUNDER BAY — Thunder Bay Police deployed numerous officers to a Rosslyn Road address near Neebing Avenue on Monday morning, after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle.

There were multiple cruisers at at the scene, and an area resident told TBNewswatch officers had guns drawn, with their attention focused on a parked sedan.

The incident occurred at a private business, where responding officers secured and contained the area until it was clear what they were dealing with.

Police were apparently being cautious because they were unsure whether anyone was in the vehicle, but it turned out to be unoccupied, and there were no arrests.

A spokesperson said the vehicle was subsequently towed.

No information has been released about whether it's connected in any way to a specific investigation.
