Employees from RBC and the George Jeffrey Childrens Foundation got their hands dirty this week, finishing a garden renovation that began last year.

The foundation also recieved a gift from the bank's "Day of Service" initiative.

The way it works is, if six or more staff from R-B-C get together and donate time to a community event, the bank will donate one thousand dollars to the cause.

That was the case when George Jeffreys decided to finish up their gardening job that was never completed. Staff from both RBC and George Jeffreys came out to move dirt and plant bushes, and the families of those volunteering came out to lend a hand too.

Executive Director Mary Anne Comuzzi hopes this touch-up reflects the care the Centre puts into their work all around.

Everyone involved set a goal to finish all of the renovations this year.
