The city-owned Herb Carroll 55 Plus Centre is closing its parking lot temporarily for the next five months.

The city-owned Herb Carroll 55 Plus Centre is closing its parking lot temporarily for the next five months.

City officials, in a release issued on Wednesday, said the move was necessitated to facilitate construction being undertaken by the Thunder Bay District Social Services Administration Board.

Fall programs scheduled for the centre, starting Sept. 8, will now be held at the West Arthur Community Centre on W. Arthur Street.
