THUNDER BAY -- The City of Thunder Bay has issued its annual reminder to keep Christmas wrapping paper out of the recycling bag.
In a release issued by the city, residents are reminded that brightly coloured and foil wrapping paper should instead be placed in the trash. The public is being encouraged to find alternative ways to wrap Christmas presents, using recyclable materials such as newsprint, reusable fabric or gift bags.
