Police are dealing with what is believed to be a grenade in someone's backyard.
The homeowner on Victor Street, off of Broadway Avenue, called in city police late Friday morning.
Officials confirm the OPP Bomb Squad and the Department of National Defence in Winnipeg have also been contacted to handle the situation.
The plan right now is to remove or detonate the grenade.
Few other details are known at this time.
