THUNDER BAY -- Police are searching for a male suspect after a Memorial Avenue hotel was robbed Wednesday morning.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were called to the Econo Lodge after a female employee reported a man with his face covered entered the hotel's lobby and demanded money.
The man was holding an unknown object in his hand and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The suspect is described as a male in his early 20s with a fair complexion, about five-foot-six in height and wearing a black jacket and a white balaclava.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
