Police closed a lane on Highway 11/17 Wednesday west of Thunder Bay for nearly four hours after a house on a flatbed truck caught fire.
Thunder Bay detachment OPP officers say they blocked the eastbound lane of traffic on the highway Wednesday evening while Conme township firefighters and Ministry of Transportation officials dealt with the blaze.
The incident took place two kilometres east of Highway 102.
Police say traffic was still allowed through the area while the fire was being extinguished.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
