THUNDER BAY -- The Fort William Rotary Club is having trouble selling tickets to their annual house lottery.

Sales have picked up over the last week, but they still have a ways to go if they want to donate their usual funds back to city charities.

The 1,745-square foot, three bedroom home is valued at $459,000 and is located in Sherwood Estates at 230 Sunflower Street.

Last year the Rotary Club sold just fewer than 8,000  tickets. So far this year, 7,500 have been sold.

According to Gordie Garriock of the Rotary Club, the usual funds they donate are at risk, if they don't sell a lot more tickets.

Tickets will be available up until 4 p.m. on Canada Day and the winner will be announced at the Marina at 6:30 p.m.
