Housing starts outpacing 2010 statistics: CMH reports

New housing construction picked up a bit in the first full month of spring. According to numbers from Canada Mortgage and Housing, work began on seven new houses in April, two more than in April of 2010.

New housing construction picked up a bit in the first full month of spring.

According to numbers from Canada Mortgage and Housing, work began on seven new houses in April, two more than in April of 2010.

That boosted the overall housing numbers for 2011 to 15 homes, one behind the number of starts recorded by April 2010.
